I was shocked when i was told that the LTTE's chief Veluppillai Pirabaharan was killed by the srilankan military. After 5 months of war the SLA (Sri Lankan Army) captured all the LTTE controlled parts in north eastern Srilanka. The remaining LTTE members were surrounded by the Army. Today Afternoon, news came from Srilankan officials that the LTTE leader V.Pirapaharan along with other senior members including Nadesan, puledevan, soosai, Pirabaharan's son Charles Antony were ambushed and killed while they try to escape the war zone by Van. But the Srilankan Government has not yet released any photographs or body of the Dead LTTE chief.
If this be true, decades long battle for Tamil Eeelam has come to a bitter end. The dream will not materialize. Tamil will forever be second citizen in srilanka. This is a black day for all Tamil people all over the world.
