Mothers kasi trip

Mother has just returned from Kasi trip. On august 10th mother started package tour to Kasi viswanathar temple and other pilgirimage centers. An Erode based tour operator had arranged the tour.

They completed the 15 day trip to Madhura, Badrinath, Kedarnath, and kasi. They came day before yesterday to tirupur. From there they went to Rameshwaram temple by van. Yesterday night they returned home. Thats it!

SEO - What i have learnt

It is almost an year i started by blogging career. Now i have under stood the importance of SEO / Search Engine Optimization. Without SEO your site can not reach its intended market/audience.

Ok. Here is the small scoop on SEO.

There are two major things in SEO.

1. On page optimization.

This is to be done on the website / web page you create. Things to be considered are,

The 'title' tag. Put your main keyword in this tag. Put sub keywords separated by '|' or '::'.

For example, if main keyword is 'Loans' and sub keyword is 'Home Loans' the title tag would be,
title Loans | Home Loans title
The total words should not exceed 9.

Next the "h1, h2" tags. Search engine bots looks for these tags while indexing your site. Put your keywords in these tags.

Next, your keywords must appear in the first sentence of the page and last paragraph of the page. In between equally distribute the keywords. Make the keyword bold, italic and underline at 2,3 places.

Next the Image tag and Image. Use and image with the name of you keyword, like 'Loans graphic.jpg' and use the ALT attribute like,


Next use the Anchor tag

2. Off page optimization.

This is all about incoming links to your sites. For this You need to get links from other websites to your site.

Meenakshi sundram is my name. I own this blog and write it for myself. Here is the biodata for Meenakshi sundram the all in all. You must be curious about the name the first part of the name Name 'Meenakhsi' denotes female and second part 'sundaram' denotes a males name. This is confusing everywhere. People mistook me for female sometimes. The reason for the name is Meenakshi sundareswarar of Maduari Meenakshi temple. The name denotes lord shiva. In Madurai Meenakshi temple he and she (Godess parvathi and god shiva) appears half woman and half man.

Somanur

Somanur, is the small town situated 3 kilo meters off the NH-47, on the way to Avinashi from coimbatore. The exact route to somanur is from coimbatore city drive east on the National Highway No:47 toward salem. In 26-27 kms you will reach karumathampatti, take right and drive some 3 kilometers, you will reach somanur. You can also come from Tirupur either via Avinashi or Via Mangalam or along side the railway line.

Somanur is the textile hub with powerloom and sizing mills manufacture grey gada cloth and cotton sarees and dhotis. Powerloom and allied business are flourishing in somanur. I have been living here for about 30 years now. I know every nuke and corner of this small town, the people and their characteristics.

Somanur has its own busstand with town buses to coimbatore, Tirupur, Sulur, Pollachi, sathi, annur, avinashi, mettupalayam. Mini Autos are operated from karumathampatti to somanur and vice versa.

The newly created suzlon energy company near rayarpalayam has shifted momentum from somnur. The vast MNC company is involved in manufacturing Wind Mill equipments. The company is located in sprawling 400 acres of land (Special Economic Zone). This has created vast job opportunities to Engineers, ITI, Diploma, Accounts, Labors and construction and civil workers.

Ok. Come back to Somanur. Agriculture is the allied business in this town. A Market will assemble on every wednesday were people can buy and sell agri products like vegetables, fruits and poultry.

The town has banks city union bank, Union Bank of India and State Bank of Indian in nearby Samalapuram.

Schools are ARC Matriculation school and Kongu Vellalar Matric School in nearby Karumathampatti. Christian missionary schools for girls is also here. Government Higher secondary school is in nearby Samalapuram.

Railaway station is also available in this small town. You can get trains to tirupur or coimbatore.

What else? ok. Come to politics. AIADMK s Mahalingam has been the chairman of karumathampatti panchayat. Former chairman is Nithya Manoharan. This is all about somanur.
